Mud Play

‘Can we change the colour of mud?’ asked one little girl. We had fun trying and the outcome of our enquiry was different to the one that I planned.

The Reading Teepee

Handmade at a fraction of the cost of retail.

Interactive Birthday Calendar

The pegs represent each of the children. Some were delighted to discover a ‘birthday friend’.

Painting Stones

A Daddy who had written books about painting stones inspired us to try it for ourselves. He even supplied us with special stones from his home island.

Attendance Stones

I spent some of my summer personalising stones to use for daily self-registration. It was a lovely surprise for the children in their welcome week.

Wooden Play Area

What’s not to love about wood?!

Clay and Sticks

Imagining construction with small counting rods, skewers and modeling clay.
